What Taylor does
Tell Taylor what you need in plain language and it handles the first draft. You stay the only one who can send, publish, or schedule anything.
- Posts jobs from a plain description — or a ready-made role playbook
- Ranks and explains candidates, with reasons from their actual resume
- Moves candidates through your pipeline on request
- Schedules interviews, checked against your existing calendar for clashes
- Drafts candidate messages and offer letters
- Builds interview kits — questions and a scorecard, grounded in the posting
- Keeps a runner-up pool so a good candidate isn't lost if the hire falls through
- Sends a daily morning brief — what's new, what's pending, what's gone stale
- Nudges you with reminders on stale pipeline items
- Answers candidate questions, grounded only in what the job post actually says
- Drafts candidate messages in Spanish, with an English gloss to approve against
- Gives plain-language hiring reports — funnel, time-to-fill, response time
Voice mode (push-to-talk, spoken replies) is available on Scale and Corporate — see Tiers below.
How to use it
“Post a job”
Open the assistant and say something like "I need to hire a dental hygienist." Taylor drafts the post — and if it recognizes the role, pre-loads screening questions and an interview kit too. Review the card, add a pay range if you haven't, and tap approve. Publishing requires pay transparency: a wage or a good-faith wage range.
“Screen candidates”
Ask "Who are my best 5 candidates for the dispatcher role, and why?" Taylor ranks them and explains each ranking from real data on the application — not a guess.
“Schedule interviews”
Say "Move the top 3 to interviews Thursday morning." Taylor proposes clash-checked times on an approval card. Nothing is on the calendar until you approve.
“Message candidates”
Describe what you want to say. The card shows the exact message text before anything sends — Spanish drafts include a full English gloss alongside it. Approve, and there's still a short undo window right after, in case you change your mind.
The morning brief
Each day, Taylor surfaces what's waiting: new candidates, cards still pending your approval, and pipeline items that have gone stale.
Voice mode (Scale & Corporate)
Hold the mic and talk instead of typing. On your first voice session, teach Taylor your name.
Candidate questions
Turn on Q&A for a job after reviewing a few sample answers. Once it's on, Taylor answers candidates' questions about that posting using only the facts in the post itself — pay, hours, benefits, location — never an invented detail.
Settings
Assistant name, voice, and speaking rate all live in the Assistant tab's settings panel inside the portal.
What Taylor won't do
- Hiring tasks only — jobs, candidates, pipeline, scheduling, messages. Nothing else.
- No candidate-facing send without your approval on a card, ever.
- Voice can talk and draft, but voice can never approve anything — approval is always a tap.

What is Taylor?
Taylor is the AI hiring assistant built into the ResumeTailored Employer Portal. It can post jobs from a plain description, rank and explain candidates, move your pipeline, schedule interviews, and draft candidate messages and offer letters.
Can Taylor contact candidates without my approval?
No. Nothing candidate-facing — a message, an offer, a scheduled interview — goes out without you tapping approve on a card first, and every action Taylor takes is logged. Voice mode can talk and draft, but it can never approve anything; approval is always a tap.
Which plan includes Taylor?
The Assistant tab is visible on every plan. Free shows it locked. Portal ($49/mo) unlocks a read-only Taylor you can ask questions. Scale ($99/mo) and Corporate ($299/mo) unlock the full acting assistant plus Voice Mode.
Does Taylor support Spanish?
Yes. Taylor can draft candidate messages in Spanish. Every Spanish draft comes with a complete English back-translation on the same approval card, so you always know exactly what you're approving before it sends.
