1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ResumeTailored AI at resumetailored.com ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

ResumeTailored AI provides AI-powered tools including resume tailoring, cover letter generation, ATS keyword scoring, LinkedIn profile optimization, and related career resources. The AI outputs are generated by Anthropic's Claude language model.

3. Accounts and Registration

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent free-tier limits is prohibited.

4. Free Tier and Paid Plans

Free tier: One AI resume tailoring, one cover letter, one ATS scan, and one LinkedIn optimization per calendar day, per IP address. Free tier access may be changed at any time with notice.

Pro plan: $19/month (or as otherwise displayed at checkout) for unlimited access. Billed monthly via Stripe. Cancel anytime — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Lifetime plan: One-time payment for indefinite Pro access, subject to the Service remaining operational.

All payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. For billing issues, contact [email protected].

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to create fraudulent, misleading, or materially false resumes
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or resell the Service
• Use automated tools to exceed the free-tier limits
• Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise the Service's security
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose

6. AI-Generated Content

The AI outputs provided by ResumeTailored AI are generated automatically and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or content that requires editing. You are solely responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before using it in job applications or other professional contexts.

We do not guarantee that AI-generated resumes or cover letters will result in interviews, job offers, or any particular outcome.

7. Your Content

You retain ownership of the resume content and documents you submit. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service. We do not use your resume content to train AI models.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and original content, is owned by ResumeTailored AI and protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from the Service without written permission.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RESUMETAILORED AI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting [email protected].

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
